Grammy winning Arturo Sandoval is one of the greatest, most versatile trumpet virtuosos of all time. On “Trumpet Evolution”, Arturo and a number of world-class musicians, producers and engineers recreate 19 trumpet masterpieces from the early 1930’s through the mid 1970’s. This recording is a jazz lovers, trumpet players dream -- one of the most important and ambitious trumpet recordings ever made.

Trumpet Evolution was recorded at Capitol Studios in Los Angeles, Todd Ao sound stage in Los Angeles and Arturo’s Miami studio. Through our longtime friendship with Trumpet Evolution co-producer Gary Grant, we were able to attend the (absolutely unforgettable) Los Angeles recording sessions (thank you Gary!!!).
