Recording engineer Andy Smith tracked Paul Simon's 2007 release "Surprise." Paul's electric guitars were recorded with an R-121 and an R-122, positioned at about 6 inches from the speaker cabinet. We don't have photographs from the session, but Andy and Paul were kind enough to let us put some samples up from the CD. In these samples, the focus is on Paul's guitar.
