One full-kit take from Bobby Holland’s drum session at Pentavirate Studios in Nashville, captured on two pairs of overheads and two room mics at the same time. All four tracks come from the same pass and are sample-aligned, so you can switch mid-groove and stay in exactly the same spot.
Overheads. The SF-12 in Blumlein over the kit, against a spaced A-B pair of R-12s on either side of it. Same kit, two very different pictures of it.
The SF-12 over the kit, with the R-12 pair spaced either side.
Rooms. The same room on two stereo ribbons. The SF-24 goes deeper. The SF-24V is more focused, with nice clarity.

The player matches the four tracks for level so you’re comparing tone, not volume. The downloads are the tracks as they came from the session.
